Clean the Floor

Sweep or vacuum the floor to remove debris.

Mix the Homemade Grout Cleaner

Mix all the natural ingredients into a spray applicator. Using gloves, mix 1¼ cup vinegar, ½ teaspoons lemon oil or juice,  ½  dish soap,  and fill with warm water.

Scrub the Tiles

  1. Sprinkle baking soda onto the grout
  2. Spray the homemade grout cleaner mixture directly on the grout area.
  3. Scrub the applicable area using a sponge or a toothbrush.
  4. Use a pumice stone in between scrubbing to remove buildup.
  5. Use warm water to rinse all residue.
  6. In the case of stubborn dirt, allow the mixture to settle for several minutes before scrubbing.
